ファタモルガーナの館 -COLLECTED EDITION-
Fata Morgana no Yakata -COLLECTED EDITION-
Fata Morgana no Yakata -Collected Edition– is a Playstation Vita port that includes the main game, the fandisc, –Another Episodes– Requiem for The Innocence, and the newly included modern age episode, –Reincarnation–. I’m sure everyone mainly looked forward to the Reincarnation episode — I know I did, and it’s one of the main reasons I got the game. Sure we get to see the characters in modern clothes, living a modern life, doing modern things, which seems like a side story, but Reincarnation is different; it’s certainly the last happy ending the series deserve.
Slight spoilers ahead so proceed at your own risk.Read More »

Kurogane Kaikitan -Senya Ichiya-
Developed by Minato Station and was released in January of 2015, Kurogane Kaikitan is quite the niche within a niche as this is probably the first and only original galge made for the PS Vita rather than most other VNs that are ports from the PC. I guess that’s one of the sole reasons I checked this game out, plus I wanted to see how ‘chuuni’ the fights could be. Since this is only for the Vita, there are no erotic scenes, which is a shame, but the game is still enjoyable without it.
70 Years ago on February 4, 1945, a huge world war broke out which eventually led Japan to be the epicenter of the economy with the help of a special crystal. Now in modern day Japan, year 2015, the country actively faces terrorism. Our protagonist, Habaki Masamune, is a second year high school student who attends a police academy, and is a member of the secret Kurogane team that fights against terrorists. The Kurogane team bears unique anti-terrorism items that grant special Kurogane powers. Kurogane Kaikitan -Senya Ichiya- is a story about violence, corruption, and redemption.Read More »
Sweet Clown ~Gozen San-ji no Okashi na Doukeshi~
SWEET CLOWN ~午前三時のオカシな道化師~
Sweet Clown is an otome game produced by Takuyo released in July of 2015 for the Playstation Vita. I thought I wasn’t going to get this or review it since it didn’t really seem like my type of game, but in the end, I gave it a shot, because why the heck not. The premise looks interesting and I thought Sweet Clown would be a quick replacement for my thirst for tragic VNs for the time being.
The opening of the game is basically what sold Sweet Clown to me—it’s eerie with a faint childhood mystique with music box melancholic melody. As the title suggests, sweets and a clown is apparent throughout the entire game, but there’s much more than just sweets and a seemingly fun wicked time, Sweet Clown has a hint of tragedy accompanied with some mental thinking. None of the guys appeal to me and I was mainly looking forward to the protagonist and how she develops over time, thus she’s one of the main focus in this review.
Now, shall we begin with tea and have a sweet, sweet time?Read More »
